Discover the Offerings at our Newport RI Inn
The Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many of the area’s top attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Bellevue Avenue, the Tennis Hall of Fame and the harbor front are within a 10-minute walk and Newport Mansions are just a 5-minute drive away. Guests enjoy a light continental breakfast, free parking on the premises, a charming backyard and deck, and ancozy front porch with porch swing. Inn Amenities and Info:
CONCIERGE/INNKEEPER: Concierge services and guest assistance are generally available between the hours of 7am-5pm. If the Innkeeper is not immediately present in the kitchen/dining area or if there is an emergency during after hours please call the Innkeeper’s Quarters at 401-477-6520.
BREAKFAST: For your convenience a light continental breakfast is included with your rate. In house baked pastries, fruit, coffee and tea are available in the main dining room.
GUEST REFRIGERATOR/ICE MACHINE: A refrigerator/ice machine can be found in the living room. Wine and champagne glasses are located above the refrigerator.
BEACH ACCESSORIES: Beach towels can be found near the back deck of the Inn.
GIFT SHOP: The gift shop is located in the main dining room at the Inn. A selection of souvenirs are available for purchase and include our famous handmade logo mugs.
PARKING: Parking in and around the city can be very challenging during the summer months. We highly suggest that you walk to most of your destinations (except for the mansions). The Inn is 8/10 of a mile from the center of town and is a pleasant walk through some of the most historic districts in Newport that feature homes built in the 1700’s. If you choose to drive, expect parking fees to be around $25-$30 in the summer months.
INTERNET: Wireless internet is available throughout the Inn. The network is “Marshall Slocum’s Network” and the password is “MoreSpring@29”.
WIRELESS PRINTING: We have a wireless printer connected to the network. Print boarding passes, directions, dinner reservations or anything else you may need. Printed documents are available for retrieval during the Concierge Desk operating hours.
BROCHURES/MAPS: Brochures and area maps are located in the front hallway.
ENTRY TO THE INN: The main entry is the back door of the Inn. Should the front door not be open please use the back door.
CHECK OUT: Check out is by 11am.
Inn Tour
Inside, guests are welcome to relax and unwind in the sitting nook, a light filled area ideal for chatting with other guests, reading a book, or having a glass of wine. Nearby in the dining room is where guests will enjoy a lovely continental breakfast included with all rates. The dining room also has a gift shop area where you can purchase a memento to take home. Nearby in the front hallway you’ll find brochures, area maps, and restaurant menus or stop by the concierge desk, we can help arrange activities and reservations.
Outside in the backyard, guests will find our patio area, complete with a covered section for rainy days. There’s a lawn, beautiful flowers, and plenty of parking too! Out front, curl up on the porch swing with a good book. Click on the images below to view them larger.
