“A lovely stay at a charming inn. The inn is an old colonial house full of charm and character. Our room was very comfortable with an old world decor and original charm. We much preferred the individuality and atmosphere to the larger corporate style hotels we stayed in on our New England tour. The location is very convenient being just a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area (pictured) and harbour, and there is a stop at the end of the road for the free trolley that will take you to where all the mansions are located. Although the accommodation is room only, there are very tasty and very reasonably priced breakfast items for sale and you can just serve yourself and pay for what you have. Tea was free as was the sweetie counter which was a nice touch. Plenty of free parking at the back. The owner and the staff are very helpful giving lots of local knowledge.
